Not exactly. I've owned, jailbroken & physically repaired MANY an iPhone. Countless in fact. I know them well. I'm a bit of a tech guy and I work with ALL phones, ALL computers and gobs of tech gear. My opinions are based on many years of experience going back to the late 90's when I was not only a level 5 Nokia technician but one of the top wireless phone salesman in the state for multiple carriers. Not trying to toot my own horn but just giving you an idea on how long I've been in the wireless game. I know cell phones. I'm not loyal to ANYONE other than who makes the best phone. Period. I don't get why people are brand loyal to a major corporation who could give a hobo's crap about them as a person. They don't care about me so I don't care about them. I use what's best and screw the rest.

As for the switch, yeah they have that. For ONE setting. My statement was on widgets that are active and allow for infinite adjustment and feedback real time. If you had the ability to customize your screen with whatever widgets you used most it makes things quicker and more informative. My statement was more an ease of use and not just use. If you saw NFC in action and had a chance to experience it first hand with an open mind (not just as an iPhone user) you would appreciate how cool of a technology it is. Think Bluetooth with WAY more usefulness. The fact that the upcoming iPhone won't have this is a HUGE oversight on Apple's part. They will spout of their security BS and battery BS like they always do when they need excuses to explain away to the loyal masses why they paid SO much money for a phone with SO few features but the fact of the matter is... it's cool.

Are you claiming the Android OS can't?

This is the Colorado BS thread and as such I've seen MUCH more pointless conversations than this one transpire of many, many, MANY pages.

Again? Must we always argue about who's phone is better? If you switch from Droid to iPhone, please donate your old phone to a good cause, and vice versa. Thank you, that is all.

Super off topic like... WAYYY off topic but what is grounds for a police officer harassing you? I mean driving wise can a police officer follow you for more then a certain distance?

There is no law governing how long a police car can follow anyone on the road. We can drive the roads all we want just like anyone else. If you go a certain way to work or home and the cop happens to be on the same road as you, going the way you're going, it may seem like he's following you but in reality, he has no clue who the heck you are. You're just another car on the road like he is.

We will intentionally follow cars that we are establishing PC for a stop on, for instance, establishing PC for a DUI stop. Or following a vehicle we suspect to be dealing drugs. We follow it till there is PC, however slight, for a stop.

I hope this answers your question.

"We will follow it for PC" aka waiting for that minor traffic violation to occur. Heck, I'd love a cop to follow me for a couple of reasons.
1- everyone will automatically remember their driving school safety lessons

    2-more courtesy around you.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong Aaron) if the cop is behind you and just happens to be traveling in the same direction as you, you are at a times more of the problem as everyone seems to panic and slow down a great amount.

...then on code runs. Everyone and their mother seem to panic and don't know what to do, or where to go / stop.

I've said it to you before, and ill say it again, thanks for what you do, Aaron.

Definitely in for food. Just let me know. I do not know what you are looking for in a house but there are some nice modest sized homes in our area. Older but have character.
Yes Apple will always have record breaking sales with an increased markup over cost with each new phone released. But Apple is a public company and they set the stage early on for large mark ups and a high end marketing strategy. They have to keep the investors happy.
Speaking of such we have a nice 3GS to donate. What are your top recommendations?
Meh the phone break trying to open the bottle. :D

I am curious about this NFC thing now. I will have to so some research. :)

I could agree with Ost, but then we'd both be wrong.

I should have phrased my fun to read comment a little better, i like giving eric shit about his droid and seeing devin post fun pictures from his iphone. I love my Iphone, and am a PC guy at home. They both have advantages and disadvantages but who really cares.

    Red Rocks Amphitheater question!

I'm planning on seeing Jason Mraz in concert next week and was wondering where you guys prefer sitting? Is GA -- behind reserved -- still a good spot? Or should I pony up for either of the two reserved sections. GA up front would be sweet but I probably can't get to the venue until closer to when doors open.

Agreeing with me would simply demonstrate the ability to think for one's self and we all know that Apple fanbois aren't capable of that. They pay good money to have someone tell them how to think about something. :D

usually we pony up the extra cash for reserved, then you know you wont have people trying to stand on top of you the whole show.

Ill be at the mraz show! Maybe can arrange a tailgating session!
That's the great thing about red rocks, every seat has great sound. As far as having a spot reserved, it may be worth a little, but at a mellow show like that I don't think you will have to worry about being scrunched the whole time.
Did you see him there last time? It was one of the best shows I've ever seen and I've been to around 75 concerts, 30 or so at the rocks. Nothing comes close to tool at red rocks though, absolutely jaw dropping. Oh and primus was amazing too.
