A friend of mine had breast cancer a couple of years ago, she had a long battle with it but it spread through out her body. She passed away this morning, leaving a husband and 2 boys, 14 and 17. This is an important fight, thanks to all that are giving and Thanks Jen for doing this.

This is why I was glad to donate. My mom had it when I was in high school (after the 2 other types during her lifetime). She passed earlier this year because of all the chemo taking a toll on her.

 

Oh my goodness I am so sorry to hear that. Breast cancer, and any cancer can be deviststional and that's why we need events like this to raise awareness and funds for fighting it. My prayers will be with you and the family she left behind.

 

I'm sorry for your loss. My friend was recently diagnosed, had surgery a couple weeks back and started chemo last week. She is physically buff as hell and a mentally strong person, and the chemo is incredibly hard on her. It really does take an awful toll.


This race sounds awesome, I love the concept and the cause and hope tryouts go well!!

no, no.. i got it.. sorry if im lacking humor.. im just tired.. i work 7 days a week (somtimes double shifts) and am spending about 4-5 hours a day on this.. my internet humor has been lacking because of it haha.. but i also did want to let everyone know that we will pay too..

by the way aaron is also paying all of MY fuel cost (for me to drive to try outs, paracitce and the race which is about 100 a trip..)

again sorry to everyone if i have been short.. or not seeming thankful.. I have been very busy with all of this and all the "behind the scenes work" but I am VERY grateful and happy to be a part of all of this. I couldnt be more excited. Even if we do not race, it is for a great cause and I will be happy just to drive the truck for try outs and practice
