    Dude I don't even know. At first I had the wire from the antenna going straight to ground on my frame, then I put the antenna wire on the mount and had a separate ground wire go from the mount to the frame, then I shortened the ground wire and mounted it on the same bolt as you have yours. My swr is always halfway in the red around 4. Even tried going to a open area....

    Then go for ideal conditions. Set that shit up in a single location and just coil the cb antenna wire up in a circle and sit there and see if you can get it perfect. Then start putting it back to a standard setup piece by piece until it fails.
