I don't use itunes at all, so the iphone is worthless to me as I do not need to sync to anything. With android I just plug into my PC and move files, or even download them on my Android from the internet. DRM is just silly...what happens when you switch to a Android or a non-apple product? Your DRM media is useless unless you can crack the DRM protection (it can be done). DRM costs more to the consumer. Basicly if you want to keep your media collection forever make sure its non-DRM.

I just got the SGSIII thing is FUCKING massive. I went from the HTC Incredible which is an outstanding phone to that. Apple makes very nice devices, very easy to use, very intuitive. I work in IT and I have to support both OS's. With all the versions and flavors of andriod that can be a bit tough some devices have propritary UI's which make it hard to find some settings where as with all the iPhone's everything is in the same spot....Anyway, if you're going to hack your phone I would go with the Andriod. You will have the ability to do more things when rooted. Being jailbroken (iPhone) is nice but you are still very limited to what you can do. If you have small hands dont get the SGSIII lol

Fast, lots of gadgets I'll never use. The map has a 3d function which is cool. It also knows EXACTLY where I am in my house - almost to the foot. The maps in my area are running off aerial photography from late spring/early summer 2012, so pretty up to date. Siri is a neat way to catch up on sports - "When do the Cardinals play next?" and "Did the Cardinals win today?" are answered immediately and correctly.

As far as design, it's thin for my taste but when I add a case it'll be perfect. I wonder if the taller design is going to lead to more breakages in pocket?

I'm probably not the best reviewer since I don't know what's new and what was available on the 4s.

You can never go wrong with an Apple product. Why get the knock off when you can get the original, that's why Samsung has to pay Apple like 3 billion dollars.

I think my Zune is better than an iPod. I've had both so I actually have something to base this off of. That's my opinion. So iPods being the "best mp3 player" does not really mean anything to me.

Just because something is the best selling does not make it the best. Maybe people should buy their music through iTunes so they can use their music on other devices. yet another reason why not to get an Apple product. You are locked in what you do with the device and cables but locked in with the music as well.

I've heard of people jailbreaking their iPhones and putting Android OS on it too.

i like both, like i said before, the GS III will be an artifact in 2 months, and the iphone 5 will still be the best phone out.

Just had the iphone5 on the news tonight. Seems to be a turd. They also noted the BILLIONS of dollars spent on repairs to iphones. Oh and the map is already broke. It is inaccurate and a bomb. Suck it easy Apple.

I would say the iphone is the knock off, considering it's made up of Samsung and Sony parts.

Both phones have very similar specs. So, if the GS3 is going to be an artifact in 2 months, what will the iphone be? All Apple did with the iphone 5 is play catch up to Android...
