The only person I've ever had talk shit on the Taco is a guy who I've known for 8 years who drives a diesel derpamax 2500 with exhaust stacks and a 12 inch lift.

So I just let him keep talkin'. Even the local JK clubs love my truck!

 

Well at times,some people deserve the negative talk on their taco. There are people who distastefully mod their trucks. i.e."deathrace" taco

 

when u argue with an idiot, they bring u down to their level and beat u with experience. I usually take my comebacks back to how much longer my truck is gonna last than their truck, or how i get 20+ mpg to there 15, or how light bulbs are about the only thing ill every have to replace on my truck (which i replace with LED so i wont ever have to replace them again since they're rated for 50k hours) or if they hit me with the "why do u drive a foreign truck" i ask them which star on the flag belongs to canada and mexico. something like that should suffice.

 

Fanboyism is what that is called. Every vehicle ever made has it's pros and cons, none of them are perfect, and they all end up in a crusher someday anyhow. There's a beginning, and an end to everything on this earth no matter how well it is taken care of, only thing that will last forever is time. But on a side note, one of my favorite comebacks is how my truck is more American made than theirs, but I don't give a damn what people drive, however they spend their money is not my problem. I wanted a Tacoma for reliability, dependable 4 wheel drive for winter, something to haul my dogs around in, and reasonable gas mileage.
