Cosmetic stuff.... best part HomerTaco Raptor Grille. Need to get a lift, armor and lockers.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for you breaking your truck. This is merely reference material.

Alright I recently purchased a wiring kit for fog lights that is giving more trouble than its worth  BUT I figured I'd make my adventures meaningful and post up a few pics of how I got from the center console to my lower dash. To most of you this is probably elementary stuff but I had no idea. I found a thread that linked to a manual but it wasn't to informative.

I actually took these pictures as I was putting it back together but I don't think that really matters in the grand scheme of things.

    So to start
    [IMG]

    Open up the Center Console
    [IMG]

Remove the Carpet thing and unscrew the two bolts
    [IMG]

At this point I got frustrated and tried to rip the rest out... not a good idea. Did some figuring and found these next steps..

Look for a gap between the surround of the shifter and the 2nd half of the center console. Mine was here.
You can barely see maybe a 32nd of an inch of gap. I stuck a flat head screw driver in there and lifted UP do not tilt or you'll scratch the plastic

Here is a picture of all the clips from the underside of the piece
    [IMG]

This is what you're left with after you remove that cover.
At the back side of the shifter there are 4 screws. Two for each half. I just took them all out at once.

After you take the two from the back then you have these six clips to worry about
    [IMG]
I found the easiest way was with the first picture just push down and they come off. The other two I didn't even notice until I put it back together. I guess once you pick it up they just come apart.. no worries there

    So now you have this..

This was inconvenient. I don't know if it had to come out at this point but I was in a tearing mood and got it out anyways. Just reach down below it and pull up. It should pop right out.

    Now you have this
    [IMG]

Grab the top corners and pull and that will pop right off
    [IMG]

Now comes the "Oh shit this isn't going to fit" look
It will just pull the front plastic out slightly and pull the back up towards the radio
    [IMG]

    Then VUALLA no center console
    [IMG]

Once again if you broke your truck it isn't my fault.
