Funny "poser wheelers" any good ones?

So yesterday I noticed a newer Jeep Wrangler in a parkinglot, I was driving by and something caught my eye, so I backed up to inspect. Sure enough this dude had a Hi-Lift bolted to the front bumper and had mounted his KC lights TO THE high-Lift. I wish I had a camera! And it wasn't like the light posts just went through the holes on the jack, he actually drilled horizontally through the rail. So if theis poor bastard ever needs to use his high-lift, he will have to unbolt his KC lights, which will now just be dangling by their wires, unbolt the jack, and then the jack will probably just fold and break since he's drilled holes in it. What a waste of a perfectly goog Hi-lift. And for the creative minds, yes it was a real functional Hi-lift, at least it looked to be in working order and brand new.

I call the dude a poser because he has no idea what a hi-lift is used for and then he proceded to turn one of the most useful wheeling tools into a cheap light bar... Now I'm wondering if the KC's were even hooked up.

Anyone else seen any poser wheelers?

I know! Damnit I wish I had a camera on me. It was in my neighborhood so maybe he lives around here. If I do see it again I'm going to take a picture and then ask the guy if I can use his Hi-lift real quick and see what sort of confusion it causes.

I'd also like to look over the rest of his rig... probably a few more interesting mods on there

There is also some dude around here with a 8-10" body lift and smaller than stock tires on a full sized Blazer. I figured he was saving up for bigger tires but he has fresh/aftermarkes wheels and tires on it. I'd like to see him explain that one.

Gotta start keeping that camera in the truck.

 

If you knew aerodynamics you would know that the air would flow under the truck, thus more lift from below the vehicle. It is widespread knowledge that a spoiler will offset this lift on trucks... Jeez man....I can't believe the great chris4x4 didnt know that.

I'll let you know another one....They serve the most purpose on a fwd honda civic. Only when it it's at least a double tier spoiler though!

I especially like all of the striping done with Blue painters' tape. It really looks badass on those wheels!

 

hmm....actually, i would suggest some of that festive colored saran wrap....then heat it up... It will work just like tint i promise Maybe some green...pink? I'm sure theres some left over from easter....Hahahaha sorry. I made myself laugh there cause i was talking like stewie from family guy with my voice progressively getting higher pitched.

Damnit! I saw the rig again today and no camera! I did notice that he has the stock spare (30x9"ish) and he's running 33x12.5's... guess he doesn't plan on getting a flat either.

 

he isnt because he cant use his hi-lift. lol come on i want to see this rig!
