Bought my first ever Toyota and first ever truck Thursday evening! I ended up getting a 2013 4x4 4-banger Access Cab with the SR5 package, Magnetic Gray in color and an auto tranny. Considered the 6-cylinder, but decided the extra payments weren't worth it. I will be using this for a daily driver 90% of the time, so I needed to be mindful of gas mileage etc.

I don't have the vehicle yet, the dealer had to get it from another dealer, but should have it Monday making a very anxious weekend ahead of me!

I haven't seen/drove the truck yet, but the dealer has agreed to let me back out of the deal if I am not satisfied with it for any reason, but I have no reason to believe that to be the case, I have researched this particular vehicle extensively and have decided that's what I wanted :)

Pics soon!!!! I can't wait to get my Taco!!!!

I am a huge fan of this awesome rock band... so I felt it was only fitting for my new truck! Got it made up at our local mall, there's a graphics place there and thought it came out fantastic!

Yes he is!!! Well, honestly I'm convinced he's some kind of alien because I swear man, his moves are humanly impossible lol. He was truly my inspiration, I have been listening to Rush for over 25 years and I also play drums, can thank Mr. Peart for that as well (and hell no I can't play anything by them lol) I'm going to the CA Tour concert in Charlotte in October... I'm stoked! Saw the Time Machine Tour last year (which was my first ever Rush concert) in Nashville.... and WOW what can I say!!! They just rock!

Thats awesome man! I'm a huge drummer fan myself...used to play when I was younger but gave it up because of apartment living :(

As soon as I get a house I'm investing into a kit again!

You've been listening to them for 25 years!!?? Thats awesome shit man, i'm only 29 but grew up listening to the classic stuff thanks to my pop :) They don't really make music like they used to. I'm more of a metal fan myself...not that cookie monster shit but stuff like Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive...their instrumentals are amazing!!!

No doubt! Yep I was around 12 or so (37 now) when I discovered this totally awesome album named "Moving Pictures" and there was a little song on there called "Tom Sawyer"... blew my mind then I'm like damn who is this guy on the drums!!!?? I quickly became a fan then realized what this shit was my dad listened to all the time.... I actually found the record in his collection. I remember seeing the cover and I'm like why are these dudes moving paintings in to this weird looking house!!!?? But holy shit it was awesome.

Seeing MP live in last year's tour was an absolute religious experience, MP by far is my favorite album from them, but really I love all of them. Power Windows would probably be second, love the 80's synth era. They played Marathon on last year's tour and I thought I was going to have a heart attack lol.

Just started playing drums again myself, I actually have an electronic kit, would rather have had acoustics but would have drove my wife nuts so it wasn't an option.

Yeah man, I was a kid when I 1st heard Tom Sawyer and it changed my life LMAO! But seriously, Mr. Peart was ahead of his time...I mean he was playing crazy shit back in the 70s...stuff the new school guys can't even do now! I thought about getting an electric drum kit from guitar center but boy are they pricey! Plus I don't really have the room for it in my 1 bed room lol! Craigslist has some legit kits for good prices! Like this one...

Damn dude that's not a bad price at all for that kit! I really like Pearl, but just like Neil, DW would be my first choice. I played some DW's one time at a Guitar Center and they are just mind blowing on the build and tonal quality. I saw a DW Time Machine snare in the same Guitar Center... but holy shit they wanted a $1,000 for it!!! So not for me haha....

Electronic kits are indeed expensive. I'm playing a Roland TD-9SX with the Zyldjian Gen-16 electric cymbals... I've probably got close to $4k invested in this kit so far, I could build a sick acoustic kit for half that, DW even ;)

Yeah DW is amazing for sure...their tones are exceptional like you said...BUT, you pay for it

It sounds like you have a pretty legit Electric Set! I might say F it and buy one to tide me over...i've been itching to play for over a year now! If I had a house I would go pick up the Joey set RIGHT NOW!!!! :(
