Yeah...I've seen pics of the one you have from other guys.....a solid block that connects from one side to the other vs 2 seperate cylinders for the bolts on the Pro Comp lift. It definetly is a better set up.;)

This for the people with the Pro Comp lift. I'm looking to replace the rear AAL and stock springs with a set of Alcan Springs.

I got a quote stating the one spring would be 10" of arch and the other will be 9.5" on the right. .5 to compensate for the lean.

I'm just worried about the small amount of Bro lean I got going on now. I want to get rid of that and have a "Level" look to the truck.

Anyone have any advice or comments from experience with getting Alcans?

I bought Alcans. If you put the one that is longer on the side with the gas tank then it will be level. If you accidentally switch them you get a gangsta skinny pants falling down lean.

Awesome!! Just the look I was going for.. Bro gangster skinny pant look.

Does that 10 inches of arch sound right? Is that about what you had before the install?

Looks nice :) More importantly, how did the ride improve??

I plan on doing ALCAN's on mine in the near future to get rid of the crappy stock leafs and blocks and do a Ubolt flip kit in one shot....I'm just having a hard time justifying the Timbren bump stops for a 6" lift set up.

Do you really think that you will max out the travel and hit the bump stops before you hit fender with your tires, and flex out 6" lift leafs enough to actually use the progressive dampening of the timbrens for hard hits? I could be completely wrong -- I don't know. Whats your take on it?

I was thinking just the All pro flip kit, and getting a pair of universal energy suspension bump stops with a threaded shank and install it on the frame rail as a precautionary measure so it's not metal on metal.

The point of bump stops is to prevent the shock from bottoming out which is what blows them. Not to prevent tire rubbing. Lol

I understand that -- I am saying will you actually be able to utilize the bump stop for what it is meant to do with ALCAN's and the All pro flip kit/ Timbren bump stop before your tires eat your bedside on a 6" lift.
