    I ended up replacing the pads and rotors on the front this morning. In the process i noticed that my stock front passenger bilstein strut decided to leak about an ounce of fluid and then stopped. Is that normal?

    From what I've heard its on its way out especially if its near 100,000miles. Though they can leak from dirt being caught in the seal which could clear out I guess one day and stop leaking (maybe someone can verify this). Some say that they can still work ok and all even though they are leaking. I'd bet they are on their way out if they are older than 50,000 miles. Hope this makes some sense I'm really blitzed right now...:wink:

    Ha ha. Me too and i'm in church doing sound for saturday night service :p anyways... I just hit 100k last month, and i'm the 3rd and last owner, so i guess it's time. Since the shocks are stock i'm assuming they haven't been replaced yet.

    Just dropped 400 on new brakes and new timing belt kit... whats another 300"guy's for new shocks!

    Gang- Here are a few more shots of the Cab Gaurd I used to hide my bad paint match. Thanks for the positve comments,,,,,It will grow on me, if the truck was black it would blend right in. Then there is my tailgate molding form a Silverado that hides the dent the PO made from a hitch. Maybe someday I will repaint her but for now, I am into hiding the carnage!

    I think every car I've had was equipped with a never used factory spare heheh 2 which were small donuts that failed miserably :p

    Most of the time the spare is more flat than the flat tire. :p I try to remember to air mine up once a year or something. Haven't used it yet, though.

    Ripped the non-working brake light on my camper shell off- I'm too cheap to buy a new one- at least right now.
    I hate how if you have something non-standard like that and it doesn't work, come inspection time, they will fail you for it. :p

    I'm about 300 yards from a large saltwater sound and +plenty of wind comming from offshore sprays salt all over the house windows and everything.
