Rally Style Mud Flaps

Hey all!

I wanted to see what I could get for some input on a set of rally style mud flaps. I recently upgraded my wheels and tires and my stock ones had to come off due to rubbing on the tires and all that fun stuff. I am a big fan of the rally look and I wanted to see what folks have done as an alternative to the stock rigid ones.

I have seen a few guys on here that make custom ones, a few guys that went with Sparco, and a few that went with Rally Armor.

Any one have pics of what they did for inspiration or any recommendations?

What I'm working with

 

I'd get some JAOS flaps if I was looking at rally style mudflaps. Those things are insanely expensive though. IIRC the fronts were $350-$400 and the rears were about the same.

 

Rallyarmor flaps are cheaper than those. Rally armor flaps are made for Subaru's I believe, not sure what else, so some retrofitting would be done. I did see a week ago when I was searching for some high-clearance flaps that some subaru owners would buy some sort of IKEA mats/cutting board stuff and cut them up to make flaps. Maybe searching "IKEA mudflaps" might bring it up?

Update: I ordered a set of the Universal Basic Plus Rally Armor flaps today. Came to $34 and change with shipping. Once I get them all mounted I'll post some pics.

My bad, yes I did.

They came out OK, I will post some pics later today.

My only complaint is the passenger side rear. It's a little too close to the exhaust and it has heated up and gotten wrinkled and deformed...
