hey guys i need you're knowledge and advice. I'm running billstien 5100's in the front set at 2.5". At first this was great and provided the height i wanted. However i've since put on an all pro plate bumper and my front sags a bit now.

So my question is this. If i want to get my height back to what it was before the bumper, what should i do? I've heard a bit about ome coils but don't know which ones i would need. My understanding is they're available from 883's-886's, providing different heights.

I encourage all comments and advice one what i should do. and if anyone can suggest a reputable site for said springs or whichever solution that also ships to canada i would appreciate it!

885x with 5100s and top plate spacer for full 3", RCD extended 5100s in rear, dakars, flip kit, LR UCAs, tint, shorty antenna, in channel rain guards,BHLM, blacked out emblem, OEM side steps, weathertechs, debadged, rear diff breather
886's and a spacer for a full 3" done..............you have a plate bumper so you need the stiffer coil rate.

DSM or Wheelers are great vendors.

You don't need a top plate spacer with the 886's

also the OP is in Canada , look to OUIPACK for OME stuff , they are the ARB dealer in Canada

thanks for the comments guys. So the 886's offer a 3" lift but under the weight of my plate bumper we're probably looking at around 2.5"? Also i read somewhere on here that some people don't recommend using OME coils with the 5100's cause it supposedly can damage some of the suspension components. Anybody able to shed some light on this?

Depending on the weight you add to the front you will most likely see 2 1/2" from the 886's alone

You can use 5100's with OME coils but not the 886's

The OME 90000 shocks are designed to work with the OME coils

damn, any other springs i can use with the 5100's? theres probably only about 10-12000 kms on these ones. I don't really want to go buying new shocks cause i sag an inch or so..

You could go 885's and a top plate spacer

What about throwing top plates on your current setup? You could use 1/2" plates on the driver's side and 1/4" on the passenger side. Otherwise, I think the 885 coils with top plates would put you back where you want to be and you can use them with the 5100s. The 886's are designed to support a lot more weight than you're carrying. The All pro bumper is relatively light compared to the ARB with a winch which is what the 886 coils are designed to support.

so that sounds like a plan. 885's with top plate spacers. now i may be missing the obvious but how come 1/2" on the drivers side and only the 1/4" on the passenger side?

Tacomas lean toward the driver's side due to the driver , battery and gas tank all being on the same side , this is known as " taco lean "

You may hear people talking about adding lean spacers or trim packers to the driver's side , this is to combat the " taco lean " and level the truck post lift .

Using a thicker spacer on the driver's side vs the passenger side accomplishes the same thing

^^ that makes sense I have noticed the lean but honestly never thought about it. I just attributed it to uneven parking spaces.

I think that settles all my questions on this topic, thanks a lot for all your help guys

I have an 09 Dbl cab and I'm in the planning stages of adding 3", 33's, a baja tube bumper from Badland Bumpers and a Warn winch, and 4x Innovations Rock Sliders. Thinking about the Icon 2 Stage system. Do I need to order different coils? Also thinking about using blocks in the back. I don't want to screw up my payload. (little bit that it is)
