    I agree it should be flush in an ideal design world, but it's not like they are custom cabinets and counters. He's working with what he has.
    I'm betting the builder didn't use that.

    Yup. However, Im considering replacing the counters too.

    Replaced the fridge last year. That was a peice of cake. Unplug old. Disco water line. Reconnect water line to new. Plug in new. Place jagermiester in freezer. Done.
