Don't be sorry; tell them it is that way because the awesomeness of the trailer couldn't be held by one post.

That is a nice looking camper. Does it have electric brakes?

My "new" trailer to put my jeep on. Took the sides off when I bought it (today). Just need to strip it all down and repaint and a couple new deck boards, rewire it and replace the hitch coupler. But it has brakes on all four wheels for only $300!!!

At the time of picture it was full of wood inside and heavy as shit! Unloaded it is just about perfectly balanced.

Dry weight is sitting around 3900lbs and the tongue weight is 378lbs. The length is around 20' closed and with the beds open(front and back) its right at 29'. It can sleep 8 adults comfortably.
Thanks guys for compliments. This is my first hybrid camper I have ever owned. The look on my kids faces when the saw me pull up to the house was priceless. Now they can't wait to go camping again. We plan on doing a lot of traveling to different camp grounds in the coming years. Time to get out and explore without renting a camper.

You guys will enjoy it for years. It is a great thing for the family. It is amazing how camping helps your family bond. I loved it as a kid, love it as a parent. My six year old son looked at me on one trip and said "Dad, camping is better than Christmas". That in and of itself was worth every penny the camper cost and every drop of fuel burned. Happy trails!

My kids cried when I told them I sold the boat and bought a camper. They never wanted to go on the boat - but now want to go camping every weekend! Definitely worth every headache that may come with it....

Did that a few times myself also comes in handy when the A/C in the house is out for a week at 95oF :)

I have been searching high and low for another camper since we sold ours 2 years ago. Just got to talk myself into it...........we had a horrible experience with a jayco.

You guys did a great job hooking up your trailers. No sagging, straight as an arrow. I didn't see a weight distribution hitch there on dogfish or the x15, unless I missed it.

I just took a quick picture at rest stop on the way home using my phone. Lol
I do have a wd hitch and a friction bar setup on it. I wheeled and dealed for the whole setup, a brake controller, and a lower price on the camper. I told them if they didn't include those items and everything installed I will take my money somewhere else. Lol.
I hear you guys about the kids being happy. I, along with the kids, have slept in side of it on the side of the house lmao. Good times! Priceless in my world.

That's funny, I had been trying to get a photo of my towing set up for a while and could not find a place large enough to get a good photograph. I was coming back from camping on NJ Turnpike and stopped at rest stop. While walking back fom the bathroom, I took a look at the trailer and whipped out my phone. Didn't have much time being my my wife and daughter was yelling at me because I turned off the engine/AC and it was hot outside.

Yes it is the long bed. Made it in my garage by 3". Probably should have measured before I bought it so thank God it made it. Can't bring down the garage door if hitch bar is on but glad to have extra length when towing the trailer or hauling supplies.

Towed from Phoenix to Flagstaff Arizona. It was about 102 degrees, and the altitude difference is almost 6,000 feet. Lots of STEEP hills, the Tacoma did great though. I was truly impressed!!!

^ Thats a lot of tongue weight, you could have moved the Camaro towards the back of the trailer some. I bet your bump stops hated you. Badass car though!!!

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I was just thinking the exact same thing. Let the trailer handle more of the weight.

If he wanted to load it that far forward he could have also loaded it backwards. That would have been a pretty decent solution also.

I would have just backed it up about three feet - maybe four.
