    through fastenal.. is pelfreybilt located in a distributor location of fastenal?

    Just out of curiosity, did anyone else besides myself order the hoops on their bumpers? I don't why I was thinking about that this morning, but I'm curious.

    It's something I'm thinking about. Its pretty basic since the plate bumper is compete, just some small mods from there, only part I havent really sorted out is the funny little sharp corners that will stick up around the grille, I'll sort it out pretty soon though.

    Thanks Chris, ya the outer notches are for a hi-lift, had to go far enuf outboard to clear the spare tire. The holes closer in are for flush mount rigids

    Oh, weight. heavy, that's all I got for now. The hi-clearance alone is probably about same as factory bumper/hitch combo but with gate and everything it will be more. I'll get real weight pretty soon, still adding a bit more material up the sides.

    Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    I'm wondering if the receiver and trailer electrical are too close? With a hitch inserted, and a plug inserted, it may be very difficult to insert or remove either because of the other. Possible to move the electrical out about an inch?
    Also, Hi-Lift cutouts: Are they on the corners, in the rear portion, facing dead rear? Or is the plan to put them in the corner portion, facing oblique (45* to side and to rear)? I kinda like the idea of having them on an oblique......
    What material are you using/will the final product be?
    Are you looking at making it a full one-piece bumper, including sides? Or are you aiming for the (All Pro, I think it is) two-piece, with bolt-on side extensions? (For a HCRB designed to provide boulder protection, I really don't like the idea of anything but a one-piece design).
    Are the shackle mounts extensions of the frame mount, or welded on stand-alone pieces? What material/thickness are they/going to be?

    Looking really good!! Can't wait to have the cash to buy a finished version from you.
