So little problem....My driver side uca is rubbing on the tire. You can see in the picture the ball joint bolt is toward the middle in the arm, and the passenger side is toward the front of the arm. If I were to adjust that myself would that mess with the toe? Should I just take it to true line and have them fix it since they did the alignment?

 

wow what difference from one side to another.

i just checked mine and i didnt have any contact.

you think it may have happened during the short time between installation and the alignment or can you hear this happening currently?

 

Have true-line take a look, pretty sure they has you the circle track special

 

Not sure....I tried pulling the tire toward me to see if it would move and it didnt....also the bolt isn't loose. Im probably going to call them up and drop the truck off tomorrow

go barrow someones go pro and shove that fucker in there and drive it around and see if its happening now.

unless they are willing to check it for free at trueline.

 

Yeah I dont mind lifting the truck and pulling the tire out and tighting that bolt myself....I just dont know if that will mess with the toe. I'll call them right now and see what they say

I would take it back to True Line and have them do it and more than likely re-align. Seems to me that the nut may have loosened just enough for it to slide. I have the same uca's and it seems like I have more threads on the bolts showing than you do on both sides. True Line did mine as well.

Yeah I talked to the guy and he said to take it in and they would take a look. Sucks but what are you going to do.

 

That means your truck was set up circle track style (going in circles)
Meaning asymmetrical setup...

Like everybody else said, get it re-aligned.

I know! Fuck I got super busy Saturday. Sorry Doug. Had to help my gf's mom move a cement water fountain. Took most of the day. Got a cool telescope and some tools out of the deal though

Yeah thats what Im thinking....or somethin trueline did? Dont know, just gonna see what they say. Im thinking if I move it back down the toe will be out of alignment huh?

 

Yeah pretty sure you touch just about anything other than ball joints & an alignment will be needed
