Anti-Theft License Plate: How to & Part #s

Needed tools:

1: #2 or #3 Phillips for old screw removal.
2: 7/16th (or) 11MM open end or boxed in wrench.
3: Allen-wrench set or T-xx socket and ratchet ( I can't tell you the size, then it wouldn't be anti-theft proof )

1: (x2) 1/4-20 x 1" Socket Cap Screw [STAINLESS]
2: (x4) 1/4 Flat Washer, small [STAINLESS]
3: (x2) 1/4 Flat Rubber Washer [Not fiber or gasket]
4: (x2) 1/4-20 Nylon Lock Nuts [Stainless or Zinc]
5: Optional: Red Locktight

Instructions:

[BOLT]---[WASHER]---[RUBBER]---{LICENSE}---[RUBBER]---{BUMPER}---[WASHER]---[LOCKNUT]


For even more theft-prevention, "reem" or widen the holes first so that the new cap screws will not thread into the bumper, only the lock nuts.

No.
But it "has" happened.

... It was about to fall off so I fixed that $hit.

 

I'm assuming this is the rear bumper? So isn't it only four bolts that holds that entire bumper on? If they really wanted your plate why not just take the whole bumper

 

Maaaannnnn ,,,, Now I'm gonn'a have to weld tabs and make locking steel cables through the frame to the bumper ... You have me worried
