No one has a perfectly symmetrical body, if you start looking at bodybuilders you'll realize this. Perhaps the asymmetry is something you will just have to deal with. Quite frankly I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't have pointed it out.

Phil Heath has perfect symmetry, IMO. We work on this daily. For example, my upper body over powers my lower body, but its always a work in progress.

Thanks a lot for the response. My goal is to lose some weight and tone. I'm 6' 1" and 225 right now, but need to lose some fat and get back into shape. I don't really mind getting a little bigger, but my goal is to lose the fat. I might start a cardio class 3 days a week and I'm trying to adjust my eating. I've been cutting the sugars out and reducing my portions so far.

I checked out that program and it definitely looks like my kind of workout. I went to the gym today and will start this workout tomorrow. Thanks!

Notice how his right pec tapers off right where his sternum meets his abs?

Just took a couple seconds to find that and I'm not writing this to prove you wrong but merely to reinforce my point that everyone has some forms of asymmetry.

I agree Phil Heath has incredible symmetry, but it should be noted that he won the most sought after title for any bodybuilder in the world as a result it.

looking pretty good. you might not need to use it right now, but as you start to lift heavier weight, you're prolly going to need to use the reverse grip method. your grip is stronger this way, and you'll have a lot more control over the weight once it starts to get really heavy

also, when you start the dead lift, have the weight on the ground. un-rack it, set it down and completely separate from the bar. then approach the bar, re-grip and lift. a proper dead lift is executed by lifting the weight from a dead stand still while it's on the ground.

I think your butt needs to be lower, and your shins should come up to the bar

Thanks fellas. I do feel like my knees do get it the way a bit. I think it has to do with my shoes, they lean me forward.

I would feel weird to walk in to a gym with chucks or a flat bottom shoe on.
