Whats the thoughts on these are they a good price for needing a resi hose and oil ? What are the chances of being able to stuff these in between the tire and frame on a shock hoop ?

Going to need a full engine cage to run them. Might have to move some things around. Vi (From Engage) is running 12" 3.0" Bypasses I believe but there isn't much detail on what needed to be done to achieve it.

Kuster Shocks have always been regarded as good quality. As far as I know anyways.

I think so with wheel spacers

EDIT: Just noticed they are 3.0 (4) tubes I don't think they will fit with out some notching

I think he meant for rear

In that case you're going to need 2" plus wheel spacers or 1.25" Spacer + Frame Notch (like Marnes### had done by DMZ)

Okay so i reallllly want long travel... who doesnt. could i buy parts and put them on my truck as i get them(like 1 by 1) or does it all have to be done at once
for instance total chaoes or camburg UCAs those would work for long travel and i could put them on now right or does it not work that way?everything is stock except i have bilstein 5100s

Stock UCA's and UCA's for long travel are different length. You have a lot of reading to do ;)

Engage arms are still 2:1 ratio so Vi or anyone strapped to 15" of travel will not be able to use the full 12" of shock travel.

Is he not running a 12" Bypass tho?! I thought it was brought out a while back. Could be mistaken.

he is, but the bypass mount is the same distance down the arm as the coil over, and still does not use the full 12". to use 12" of travel on arms that are strapped to 15", the lower shock mount will have to be almost at the spindle, and you cant do that with CV axles.

here's an old pic from when i was running the giant shackles. my pivots are roughly 53.5... slighty off helton's number. the frame notch was from a previous set up i had with 9" shackles
