My brother had the same problem with his 96 taco, he got a new gas cap and all was well.

Gotcha. I barrrley rub the frame on hard u-turns (or off-road of course) with 3.5" BS 17x9 wheels... I'd say get 3/4" or 1" spacers if you want to get rid of the frame rubbing as long as you don't mind potentially having to rework you fenders a bit.... I don't think you'd have to do much to get no runnong unless you plan on off-roading a lot.

I think it's hard to tell if the alignment is off just by looking at it... (unless it's BADDD) :nosture:

Most likely is the gas cap, truth be told. I've heard of this happening before. Hopefully that's all it is. And always remember- if you're not sure what's wrong, try fixing/replacing the most basic/cheapest things first.
    Cheers!

I wonder if they have a location near me then.
I know someone who actually takes apart circuit boards and things like that for the gold, silver, and all that. He uses pretty much a basic chemistry set to strip all the other stuff off- it eats it. I'm not sure exactly how it works, (what chemicals/procedure, etc.) and I did fail Chemistry my eleventh grade year, so doing that is probably not for me... lol.

Yea im not to worried about the rubbing, like i said its at full lock and it doesnt bother me. i have a set of 1.25" spacers but not gonna use them, make the ride crappy, think they are out of round, also would push wheels out really far.

The alignment was done 2 weeks ago(got lifetime alignment on the truck so i take it like 2 times a year just to have it checked) on my set of BFG a/t's 265/75r16's that i have also and they said it checked ok and gave me the print out of it.

Truck rides good and does not pull either way so im not complaining as long as the tires wear good.

    Thanks for all the replies

Awwwww come on. With the wheel spacers you could be like me. 2.5" back spacing hahahahahahaha course then you have to trim the front fenders a lot..
