Nah Vi was more hands on with the testing, so technically his has the prototype set, not even the production set. The other ones before mine was because I wanted to wait for the production 4x4 spindles to be done before I install the axles.

Justin was very helpful with all my questions. Instead of selling me stuff I didn't need he told me how to reuse the parts I already had to accomplish my goal. I will go back to him in the future.

It's just for protection from friction. I only wrapped where it was rubbing, but it's not gonna affect anything else.

The bearing is already pressed in (pillow blocks aren't usually replaceable without switching the whole unit). You shouldn't need anything when swapping.

just use the oem one. it works fine when theres a slipjoint installed .

plus your engine and trans will still be moving quite a bit and solid mounting the carrier bearing wouldent be wise.

Yep.....I just spit my drink on my laptop.

Read through a few of Matt's posts. Chances are he'll come out of the closet before he'll buy an engage kit.

I was thinking before I finally get around to installing the SUA, has anyone upgraded their reservoirs to larger ones?

Did you do it initially or after running the smaller size? Any benefits, issues?

Reason I ask is because the guy I bought my shocks off upgraded his bilstein coil-overs with the blackhawk resi's...things were f*cking beastly.

Yeah I assumed it was a joke, but on another note my search for shock hoops was inconclusive, does anyone make a prefabbed shock hoop for a second gen so i can run 12 in shocks with out cutting into the bed like eaither noford or wills truck ? Or would I be better off just making my own out of tubing ?

i don't think anyone makes one due to the fact that each truck/owner/shock is different

I know Solo makes hoops but they're pretty small, probably only fit a 10" shock. See if they will make a taller one that can fit a 12 or 14" (I can never remember what size shock Will runs with his DMZ hoops).

Or just ask Tim if he made a jig after doing Wills truck.
