Another great run with the Mojave Crew.

    Here are some highlights.

Entire album is here but the trip starts from page 9 to page 1. For some reason they loaded backwards.

I was leading the crew and I didn't see this sign or the 3 foot wash that was quickly approaching...

The rock on the left was in the middle of the wash when I slammed into it.

Luckily my skid plate absorbed most of the blow along with my neck.

This is Rock Springs last year. As the natural spring flowed out of the rocks, the water would seep into the sand. Rumor had it that if you were to dig into the sand you would find really wet sand as you dug deeper.

This is Rock Springs this year after a huge rain storm flood. I guess the rumor was true.

Oh man! You were having some serious trouble with that man!

More skinny pedal down at the bottom of the hill and you would have been fine :D

I'm glad I had it cause I may have done some real damage to the front end or radiator if I didn't. We did a look over and everything looked straight.

Even skinny pedal does not work good hahah I was still sliding every where and that hill is no joke and can't afford to make any mistake on it.

everyone was aired down to at least 18 psi or lower. a change in tires wouldn't have made a difference. there were several huge ruts for the first 10 miles and we were being very cautious as we approached them. obviously Jim proceeded with caution as anyone would have. since he doesn't have 4wd he didn't have the luxury of driving up that hill at a slow speed. if Jim didn't get stuck one of us would have. the rest of us learned how to approach that hill thanks to Jim.

just wanted to clarify for the monday morning quarterbacks.
