One of these days I am going to have to save up some money and hit the Pull a part in B'Ham. I used to go the the 3 or 4 in Dallas all the time. They wanted to clear out some vehicles so they had a sale. $50 all you could carry. I watched a guy who I will call Bubba for the way he looked walk across the 10 foot travel line with TWO chevy 350 engines tied to his body. Not blocks, the ENTIRE ENGINE! Not bad for $50.00!

so im kinda strugglin with toyteccc at the moment. Im ready to order my front shocks but kinda havin trouble ordering. I browsed the forum and read in different places how 5100s work well with the 881 coils i have up front. but the toyteccc guy says gotta get the OME shocks to make it compatible. so...is he only telling me this because the OME are 70 bucks more and he wants the commission? or are all the people on here who have used 5100s with 881 coils just set up for disaster?

They're not gonna blow up. They're just valved differently. I had the OME shocks with 885 coils, and thought that it was just right. It was firm, but not bone jarring.

I'm with Dave though, I'd call around and ask some other places. I'm a big fan of Metal Tech 4x4. They seem to know their stuff when it comes to suspension. I'd call DSM too. Get a couple of opinions from those guys, and see if they'll compete for your business, maybe free shipping or something.

This. Just got back from traveling for work. Leaving for Arizona in two weeks for a week and then a week in Utah first week of November. I'm ready to stay home for a while.

Boo for out in amazing wheeling country, and having to work. You should rent a buggy out in UT and do some wheeling while you're on the company dime. At least the travel out there would be covered.

Work's been nuts for me too recently. Hope everyone's hanging in there.

Yeah I wish I could take some time to site see. If work wasn't so friggin hectic everywhere I go I'd take a week off and visit the family in AZ while I was there.
