Sooo I'm looking to put 37's on 2.7 Tacoma...yeah, figured I'd get a lot of ppl tell me no. It's all for looks, no off roading what so ever. I was wondering what to regear. 4:88? I want something that I could eventually put a 35 on and not have any problems. I know the gas is gonna suck but is anyone running 37's that could throw out an estimate? Are they too much for the 2.7? Mpg on 35's would be good too, just trying to get some ideas here

^^^ I think that photo is lacking some more information. What's the end result implying and where's the color legend?

Forgive my (lack of) knowledge in Tacoma models/variations but is it an auto or manual? If auto then definitely 5.29s. If not then you might be able to get away with 4.88's but then you'll be wishing you got the 5.29s. Even with 35's it's still just right.

Its a manual, and from what ive read i got stock 4:10's. I plan to fit them, veryy carefully. 12" of lift it shouldnt be too hard tho

bud i can tell you right now that is not going to work. i have 8 inches and i could prolly go one more then the angle on your cv's and angles are going to be to steep. but go for it. just a fair warning. You are going to break shit like crazy

edit: unless your doing 9 inch suspension and 3 inch body that will be the only way it will work but if your doing that your still gonnna have to cut a shit ton off the truck to run 37s

Thought I would throw this in here. Good luck OP, plenty of people will steer you away from such a lift but I say live & learn.:) Sounds like you are doing it right with 37s and wanting 4.88s / 5.29s

Only change in cv angle is from the coilovers. Body lift has no effect and neither does the dropbracket, it's not any more stress on the cv than just running the coilovers at 3" with no other lift

I know a guy who had a dropbracket with coilovers cranked all the way up and he was running 37's. No scrubbing whats so ever. Just put an aftermarket front bumper

    5.29 hands down.

    I get 19 or 20 average with 35's and 5.29's.
    I drive it easy though.
I can pull 24 hwy if I stay at 60.
