We got there 15 minutes before Mraz hit the stage so I didn't have time teh booze. That was probably for the best...Haha!

Haha I hope your wife gave a "IDGAF" look to the old people after that!

Jason Mraz at Red Rocks. Incredible performance. One of my favorite singer-songwriters!

She asked the one woman if it was past her bedtime, i just dont understand was it a very quiet concert? because ive never had a problem with people telling me to shut up at red rocks, the sound is so great that you have to yell into the persons ear next to you just to speak anyways.

was it a great first experience of red rocks for you?

It was a lively, energetic crowd despite the rain. But it was an amazing first experience. Someone on here told me that watching a show at Red Rocks in the rain is almost like a rite of passage! We were 18 rows up -- AMAZING view and sound.

Those are great seats... just gotta make sure you're below the top of the stage or else the sound gets a little squirly.

I was front/center for Thievery Corp last summer... fucking amazing:

The bassist came down and played in the crowd for the last song

    Yeah, I was highly impressed.

They played 3.5 hours straight (took two 3 minute encore breaks) and just had the emcees and singers flowing on and off the stage as they went into different songs.

They had every singer from every album with them.

I was at that thievery show too! It was great, ghostland observatory was really unique. I loved their show so I went and bout some of their studio stuff and didn't like it that much. Crazy how red rocks can make you like music that you wouldn't normally like. It's that cool of place. I saw bjork there, that shizz was insane. She wore a giant bird suit for the entire show...

i figure yal would be the best folks to ask, since this is my first time living somewhere that it snows, can yal educate me on studded tires? i am out in summit county and frequent dirt roads as well as highway. the tires i am thinking about picking up are the Cooper ST MAXX which are pinned for studs..

are there any negatives to studs on and off road? i am on an offroad adventure atleast once a week and see everything from loose rocks, boulders, dirt, mud, tree roots... the usual occurrences out here.

can studs be installed/removed.installed so that they could be removed come summer time next year?

pretty much if any of yal have some n00b info on studded tires, id be extremely helpful!

I really didn't like Ghostland Observatory. And I saw Bjork there in 2003ish? Great show, I love her style.

Here's a snap shot of Ghostland (I wasn't into it so I sat off to the side a bit)...

If you want to go the route of studded tires, you should buy a set of all terrains for the non-wintry months. Studded tires aren't for wheeling.

Truth be told, if you just bought a bomber set of all terrains, you'll be fine all year round. You just have to learn/get used to driving in wintry conditions, eg go slow, allow more room to brake, learn the snow conditions (moisture content, is it hardpack/ice underneath), etc...

cool, so with a tire like the Cooper ST MAXX (similar to duratrac in design i would say) i should be alright with no studs, maybe just added siping?

X2 you really don't need studded tires in a 4 wheel drive truck. Get some duratracs and if your worried put some sand bags in the bed and you'll be surprised at how well it handles
