You boxed the frame alrighty? I can't remember if you did or not already

 

not yet haha forgot about it untill the other day.. when i was tweaking the rear hanger a tad wider and i couldnt because the frame kept twisting

 

so glamis meet ehhh?? haha

 

So I called Tim at DMZ this morning and he doesent sell just the prefabbed shock hoop so I'm just going to make my own. And on that note should I use 1.50 x .120 wall dom tubing or 1.75 ?

 

Why not get the whole kit?

 

Cause even if I got the whole kit unless I have him install it he won't make or sell just the shock hoop unless he custom makes it during instsll

 

Yeah, Tried to get him to sell me just the shackles when I was building my truck and he said no

 

not all shocks are the same - compressed length, rod ends, etc, it's impossible to sell a "kit" without customers complaining about it not fitting correctly.

Unless Tim says you need to buy the specific exact shock from this specific exact shock company, chances are, the 12" shocks you have wont work with his "kit".

king's have a larger head on the shock, SAW's are known to be a little shorter like icon and so on like said. Have someone or you build a basic little bedcage connecting the shock hoops together, it'll be easier and come out cleaner. Also use 1.75 DOM for the main structure and fill in with 1.5

 

You'll need a slip yoke for that bearing.

you should go, it would be cool to check out your truck. i really like your bedcage, i think im going to sell my bumper and build my back bumper into my cage.

 

Cool that's what I needed to know thank you cole, and I'm just planning on building a shock hoop in the wheel well for now not a whole bed cage and will be running 12 in shocks like wills truck fixedtrd

 

Anyone have a tapered or flat bottom spring plate for a 3" ID coil? If you want tonget Rid of anyone let me know! I'd prefer tapered btnindont care. If not ill get some at poly.
