Forestry. I had OSU as my third choice behind MSU and Stephen F. Austin State. OSU doesn't have forestry as a major though. It is a minor under Environmental Sciene

No, I looked at Georgia and Auburn though. I don't have any family up anywhere near Kansas and I have no desire to go that far north. Thanks.

Pretty close to the way I do it. I pick up a box at least every other pay check. You can also pick up 12 gauge dirt cheap after dove season ends. I stock up on bird shot then also.

Can anyone suggest a decent GPS for offroading and hunting?
I would like it to be color, upgradeable, able to upload and download maps.

I have TomTom for around town. I want one specific for hunting and offroading. I have been poking around on the Cabelas site looking and reading. I was hoping someone in here had some knowledge they could pass on.

Brilliant. I love the bird shot idea. How much cheaper is it?

And I finally got some actual self defense loads for my truck gun. Ive only had 3" duck loads in it

It just depends on where you find it. Usually the smaller gun shops will have the better deals because they will need to move the stock to get their money investment back out of it. I found a place in Stephenville last year that was selling boxes of #2 for 1/2 off towards the end of duck season.

I bought a topo maps app for my iPhone. Just download the maps of where you are going with wifi and have fun. You dont need cell service aince the map is downloaded. I have used this app for my k trail trip in Oklahoma, exploring the several passes in Colorado as well as a long hike to a great fishing lake up there.
I have used this along side my handheld Magellon GPS and it works great. Plus for $15 it is much cheaper than a new unit. Not sure if it tracks or if it can be downloaded but it does what I want it to.
Screen shot of where we camped 1 night in Colorado.

On an unrelated note, do you balance your trail rig tires?

I know! I could have even but some mids or tweeters in between the seats.

Feel free to donate some bucket seats to me ;)
