Can someone point me in the right direction on what brands are well known in the offroad industry for fuel cells? I see JAz and Fuel Safe alot. Any names i should stay away from?

Any major Difference other than name? The price is ridiculously different 300-600 vs 1400-1600 ish for a 32 gal... Does the JAZ come with fittings and roll over valve?

The foam is supposed to last longer in the fuel safe, but I've had my jaz for 3 years and it's still good, and yes it comes with all the fitting/rollover valve

So I got a random call from one of my buddies in one of the bay area offices. Turns out we've got another coworker who recently picked up a new truck. Still waiting on all the details....but 1 week later this happened....

That's my take on it too. He bought a heavily modified used truck and didn't nut-and-bolt the entire thing before driving it around. Bad on him for putting complete faith in a stranger and not giving a complete once-over to vehicle he just bought.

Ok full details, I gave up waiting for an email and called the guy.
He hit "something" and the whole mount folded. Tie rod did not come loose. They had take the tierod off so they could straiten the wheel to get it on the flatbed to tow it home.

He's definitely a rookie, but he called up Hass and Hass said he would only work on it if he had the whole truck sent down to him in Pomona so he could fix it and cycle the suspension. I assumed Engage had jigs for the spindles?

I was hoping this isnt how they are designed to come off the spindle, it looks bent

    Edit: and broken

So he hit something as in a bump or did something hit the spindle?!

Pretty sad that it just tore off & folded like that. Even if the bolt did come loose that should never happen.

    The "something" was another Tundra.
Apparently he's not used to driving a truck that wide. He clipped the tire of a parked Tundra. Parked truck was undamaged. Pulling the inner tie rod bolt and 3 tow trucks later (first two were too small) they got it home.
