2. I'm a BFG All Terrain fan myself. Have been running them since 1994 in Colorado. And they are amazing all year round tires on and off road, in the most insane wintry conditions.

But lots of people love Duratracs. I honestly think you can't go wrong with either and currently, I believe, the BFGs are considerably cheaper.

 

ya cheapest ive seen duratracs in the 285/75 size is 300 a pop..

 

The BFGs are $235 - $241 (before tax and roadside warranty, etc) at Discount Tire

 

I got mine at discount for about $230 a pop, maybe they are higher now cause of winter?

 

yeah the duratracs should run around the same price as the BFG's, mine were around $230 a tire, C rated though. the E rated ones are usually a lot more, but two guys here at my work got the E rated ones put on and paid for the C rated tire, all through discount tire.

BFG's suck I had a set on my taco and currently run a set now neither was by choice just what came on the trucks

 

I have E rated cause that's all they had... Don't remember them being more expensive, could easily be wrong tho

running BFG Rugged Terrain T/A 235/75/15 ... havent tested em off road but i have plenty of time because myself along with 450 other people at my old work got laid off

 

Well if I can get duratracs for the price of a/t's I'd scoop some up pronto, guess I'll need to do some calling and haggling

to be honest that job sucked ... but they take the record in the worst way of firing people ever .... a conference room and a video over skype!!!

and i used to run e - rated tires and the truck rode super rough ..... bfg long trails also 235/75/15 its what was on it when i bought it

My experience, for 20 years now, vastly differs.

That is of course we're both talking about the All Terrain KOs

 

I was raised in the NW with Les Schwab, always had great service and great prices...

We'll see where the first store pops up.
