use that shit every once in a while it def does work to whack and stack

    x2

ya i usually shoot the 3 1/2 BBB kent also. its the best bang for the buck no pun intended. ive used black clowd twice and in my opinion def not worth all the money. i just keep to kent for any thing in 3 1/2 with a B after it and Federal 2 mags for ducks.

oh and dude up in barrow, ak where i was just deployed at.... speck mother load!!! one of the dudes that worked at the airport, his only jpb was to drive around and shoot at them from his truck :eek::eek:

going to scout a couple more places this weekend hopefully find the honey hole

My dad is headed up to Kenai Pen. this weekend. His excuse is to work on our house up there, but we all know that the only thing he'll be doing is wacking ducks.

while i probably won't hunt waterfowl this season it looks like its going to be a banner year for those that do. the mornings i've spent scouting for moose and whitetail have allowed me to see more birds feeding in the fields than i have ever witnessed in my 34 years. best of luck this season to everybody and remember to hunt safely and ethically.

Just finished painting up the little boat a week ago, it's a lot better than the bright white it used to be.

Duck season starts next Monday. :woot:

Pulled a dumb one last night though. Ran the recip saw right across the trigger finger. Should be good enough by then though.

just get a decoy sled and tow it behind the boat, then all you will have to do is teach the pup to sit in that while you paddle. but the hardest part would be picking it back up out of the water to put it back into the sled

Last time I tried putting my dog in the yak I spent about 30 minutes feeling around on the bottom looking for my shotgun in about 4ft of brackish water. Some dogs ride well, some......don't

got my sleeping platform built for those extended weekend hunts. still enough room on the side to fit the ice chests and my 25mm ammo cans full of camping gear. the deek bags will just sit on top of it. the best part is that this was made out of all free wood that i got from the construction section of our local dump!!

    measures 29w x 70L x 10H

One week left till out opener. Didnt get new blind built on boat, decoy trailer finished, or even the truck ready to the point I wanted. But the dog is pumped and I am more than ready for this season to start!

Seeing lots of birds moving in by my work. Surprising with the warm weather. Mainly teal but seeing some big ducks and divers too.
