Maybe wants to make sure the guy didnt fuck anything else up when he hit a parked car? obviously he doesnt know what he's looking at so maybe he should have someone more knowledgable in the suspension world look at it?

IMO if you hit something like that, who knows how fast he was going. something has got to give... it wasnt the tie rod.

I'll completely agree and makes sense if you're a local OR if it was all custom fabrication. It's the right gesture and absolutely a good idea if engage wants to look over the rest of the truck and make sure everything is legit. However if it's just an off the shelf spindle, I don't think he should have to tow the truck to Southern California to get a spindle repaired or a new one made. My 2 cents.

And yes, you're right, I don't think he has a clue about what he bought. I gave him Joey's contact info at Infamous Metal Works to see if he can come up with something other than towing it to Pomona.

    No idea.

Not trying to stir the pot but at what point as a fabricator do you say, you hit a parked car im not fixing it. I'd say if it happened using it the way it was intended yeah Engage is responsible but they guy hit a parked car. Definitely above and beyond on Engages part to want to correct it.

Thats kinda like crashing your truck and asking Toyota to fix it because it was damaged...

I don't think it's pot stirring. But honestly, hit a parked car, hit a rock on a blind turn, or hit a 5 foot whoop that came out of nowhere, what's the difference besides the driver being retarded? You're hitting something else that isn't moving. If Engage doesn't want to work on it, IMO it's an honest answer. But if it's an off the shelf part, why can't anyone just buy a new spindle to replace a bent one or send a broke one in to get fixed if it's fixable? The dude isn't asking Engage to fix it for free or holding them responsible. He fucked it up and is willing to pay to get the spindle fixed or replaced. So yeah, you're last statement makes no sense to me. If i crash my truck, and take it to toyota, they'll fix it and i'll pay for it, or i'll buy the replacement parts i need and fix it myself.

Fair enough I thought he was looking for Engage to replace the spindle free of charge, Guess i was reading too much into it.

That is not an equal comparison.

If the truck had been Offroad then the tire gets pulled In a ditch or hits a rock the outcome most likely would have been the same if not worse. The spindle should not tear in that way really under any circumstances, I'd expect it to bend first.

As i can agree, it didn't happen that way. He hit a car at an unknown speed. also the guy just bought the truck so who knows if there was previous damage?

I want them to make a Tacoma kit just to see what they come up with.

If I had a raptor I'd definitely have that kit on it though. Looks very well designed

Good stuff, from what I've been reading it seems like they have the best fitting glass for our trucks.
Edit: I'm on my phone but I meant that for a 2nd Gen, not sure about the 1sts.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get then for my truck I called and they make a 3" rise 3" flare. I think it should be perfect for my camburg spindles and 35's
