yea. only tools required are jack, jack stands, grinder, hammer, punch, drill with 3/16ths and 1/2" drill bits, and some wrenches. the worst part of it is getting the old hanger off, obviously those rivets dont give up easily.

here are a few flex shots from the driveway... as of here i am showing a full 10" of travel which isnt bad considering thats on factory leafs with a simple AAL and the shackle flip.

just to point it out. in those flex pictures the rear shocks are removed. i did this so i could see the maximum travel from the springs alone. from some measuring i now know that the 8" travel 5125 bilsteins i have are not long enough. i was showing right at 10" of travel. i just want to note to everyone that in order to maximize flex you would need to run longer shocks. i am currently researching to see if there is a shock available that would bolt on to the factory mounts that would be long enough.

yea my rear used to get into the fender some as well. had to fix that problem after the rubbing caused the bedside to kink. now the top of my tire will just disappear behind the fender.

thanks relentless. it fixed the problem i had with the stock mounts hanging down so low, plus i got the added benefit of extra flex! woohoo!

If you were ever thinking of doing a high clearance rear bumper DO IT!!! I saw one of these in person last night on Channing's (sp? sorry) black TRD access cab. Fit and Finish are perfect!

yea dude its the weirdest thing, I met him about 2 years ago through a mutual friend, we all went to Atlanta to the Georgia dome to see a supercross event. At that time he was driving a Tiburan or something like it. I had talked to him a couple times in between then and now and seen his truck around town not knowing it was him. Last night we both pull up to the local pizza joint at the same time and we were both like holly shit. I knew as soon as I pulled up when I saw that rear bumper it was familier so I asked him if it was ArmorTech, Its a small world. I'm very happy to have run into him and his buddies (one with the FJ) so were gona do some wheelin/shoot the shit soon. Hopefully down the road sometime I can get some ArmorTech on my truck, I was blown away with the quality of his high clearance.
