It could be. What's your grip like? Do you push up and over your head so that your arms are in line with or behind your ears or do you push straight up and keep the arms in front of the ears.

When I got for lower reps with heavier weight, I tend to push up and over. When I go for higher reps I usually just push straight up with my head bent back slightly.

Yea, I push up and over. When I'm over I pause for a second or two. I lower the bar, move my head back. Down to my nose and tris perallel to the ground and then back up.

What is your warm up and stretching routine like? I used to get alot of pain in my shoulders until my GF (a DPT and CSCS) enlightened me. Also you could be getting pain simply because one part of the shoulder is stronger than the other.

On shoulder days I warm up w a lot of reverse flyes. I use light weight and change up my grip or movement every 15 reps or so.

I heard that if you want to gain weight you have to eat right when you wake up....is this true? I never know what to eat in the mornings

Ill try to post some stuff when I'm on my PC.

Breakfast is important for more than just gaining weight! Brain function a huge reason to eat breakfast. I eat oatmeal with a huge spoon full of almond butter, banana, and full glass of milk. Its got polysaccharides, EFA's, protein, and the various vitamins and micronuetrients from the banana.

This is what I mix with water as soon as I wake up. Taste like shit but gets me going. Plenty of nutrients.

Now that I am on swing shift, its easier for me to eat a big breakfast. My gf makes me burritos with eggs, Spanish rice and bacon. I usually have 1-2 banana's on top of that. And some more eggs.

I used to get shoulder issues too, but I started to fully extend my arms out to the side and do a counter and clockwise spins for a warm up. And it's also important to workout your rear Delts. I haven't had an issue since then.

I was doing that but they get irritated quickly. I've been doing some re-hab stuff from diesel crew and stopped all pressing for the time being.....focusing on legs and light horizontal pulling.

This, usually its the rear rear felt that's weaker. Thia causes impingement/pain. You really need to make an effort to have balanced shoulders. Most people get a lot of front delt work from working chest and then again on shoulder day. Along with stretching and ALOT OF WARMING UP, when I work my shoulder I focus on the rear and mid heads. I hit the fronts with maybe one exercise. My rear still get plenty of work from back work, but in years past I've neglected them, causing the shoulder pain I used to have.
