ODI grips are the best.. No dealing with glue, safety wire, paint.. fastens securely and minutes to swap grips if needed.

    Yeah.
I am not a big fan of Suntour suspension forks, so I would do anything less than the Aspect 10. It's got the best set of components in the line, and the only one with a Rock Shox fork.

Not sure about the Dakine pads.

    Yeah.

looking at the specs, the apect 30 looks like a decent starter bike. i agree the fork isnt the best but itll be fine to start. You can check out craigslist and might be able to find a bike with better spec.

as for the dakine pick up pad tacomas need a small, atleast i hope so because that is what i just got haha.

    Yeah.
Looks like a fun trail when it isn't running through some slop! Pretty cool that you can find a place to ride there.

    Haha I feel ya.

I've test driven the new Fox dropper with the remote, pretty sweet! I think I still prefer the lever. I'm ocd minimalist on my handlebars lol. I cringe at running a front derailleur, even though I'm running one on my current build in progress.

    Stock. Purchased 2/17/19. Cement!
Interbike in Vegas was a success. I was able to order a Crank Brothers Kronolog for $180 (retail $300), also purchased another Inno INA388 bike carrier for only $80 (retails for $180) and finally another GoPro Hero2 Outdoor addition for only $200 (instead of $299).

I'm ready to start some major recording. :D

I was thinking about a suspension seat post as well. I would definitely need the lever on the handlebar though. I do like the gopro on the helmet too. I have to get back into mt biking before I start showing the world.

I GoPro all my rides as well. I've found the roll-bar mount works better than that smaller clamp.

What is the reasoning behind single speeds?

    Lightness?
    Simplicity?
    Training your body?
