    ha, just a day trip eh?

    Of all places in MT to go to, Missoula is the closest to me but still a 8 hr drive one way. About 1000 mile round trip including some wheeling miles.

    So they have instructed me to try two different things...First was to disconnect the a arm and make sure that the uniball moves freely, (did it) second they told me to remove the a arm and press the uniball out and transfer punch the outside of it so that it does not move (did it, big pain in the ass! now it is louder than it ever was before. So i call them and last night very frustrated and they want me to pull the a arm out again and send it to them on my dime.....Needlees to say they did not hear many kind words from me including that if i knew this upfront i would have bought total chaos! ripping it apart again tonight to send it to those jackholes, so I wont be able to drive it till I get it back....

    That is bullshit that you have to go thru all that "try this or try that" stuff. Not good customer service on threir part at all..

    He is dealing with the mamufacturer, not the place he purchased from. Only DSM could accept a return for a refund. Sucks.

    I'm not going to try to compete with those 'wrong coast 'ers. :rolleyes:

    I've had good fortune with mine. I did have a squeak for a while (not uniball related), turns out greasing the poly frame bushings helps with that. :rolleyes:

    Hey, i'm new to TW and found this thread. I'm from Bigfork, MT. Just wanted to say Hello!

    FYI,
    They use magnesium cloride(salt), sodium cloride(salt), or crushed aggregate or a mixture of them on the roads in montana depending on conditions. Just wash your truck every few week if you worried about your truck/rims. Its only if you let it stay on all of the time that you'll have problems. I run Alloy rims all year with no problems:)

    Welcome new guy.

    So went and got my new tires in Helena yesterday and while driving over just past basin while passing another car i had a small Subaru driving headlong towards me on my side of the interstate. I derived and missed running had first into him by about 3 feet.

    People are crazy or there these days. Definitely dint think i would walled away from that one even with my bumper, and the other person definitely wouldn't have.
