    Yes you can touch some of them. There will be some that you can only get within a few feet of. The past few years we have had Zeros, P-51s, Corsairs, Bi planes, C-17, C-5, B-1, B-52 and a number of other jets I can't even name for you right now. I think they had some older B-49's as well... No touchy the thunderbirds though!

    One year a long time ago they had a 117 stinkbug up at Reno and we got a private after-hours in-hangar tour. They had it cordoned off with numerous guards, but we got to go right up to it and look in the cockpit, etc., which was a big deal back then. I talked one of the guards into trading one of our racing crew shirts for one of their "use of deadly force authorized" signs they had hanging around it. The sign is in my garage now... :quickdraw:

    one of my best friends was a 117 instructor, and his obligaiton was up right at the time they were starting to fly missions in Bosnia. His plane was deployed with his name on the cockpit after he was already out. it's the same plane that was shot down, with his name on it. Caused considerable commotion in our ranks until he got in touch with us and said "I reported the plane stolen 2 weeks ago!"
