 not this again! Next you're going to quit the off roading scene and then you're going to want to trade your truck for a stock one. Mitch, Zach is going through his emo phase again!!!

    .
Hey guys, I wanted to put some feelers out there if anyone is gonna be around Florence the first week of November, I'm doing a huge loop from Cali, through Nevada, into Idaho, hopefully doing some wheeling with TW folks in Misoula Montana and then swinging out to the coast to stay at my friend's place in Florence. If any TW members are gonna be around I'd love to meet ya!

Go for it. the STi is pretty damn good as a rally car for off roading. imagine the speed you can be at when you hit the jumps you would normally need a truck for...

imagine how much more damage will happen from jumping a car where a truck should be used.

I've always heard that STI's a expensive to maintain as well.

Plus most of the used ones have been hammered on by "kids". Dunno man, the only way I would buy one is if it was brand new.

Just ignore me, I'm getting old and look at things too practically these days...:(

they are a bitch to work on. doing anything significant around the motor means dropping the motor, then picking the car up off the top of it. a friend of mine was autocrossing with his for awhile.

doesn't have to be new, just a year or 2 old. look around enough and find one that was gently broken in, but not beat on.
