Haha I was thinking about being mean and throwing them in the bed of the truck and driving through the mud pits haha

 

no lift atm but i got 4wheeldrive a locker going to see how much trouble i can get into and i will have 1 extra seat

 

I have room for a person or 2 if they don't mind a dog.

 

And maybe something higher velocity to set off an exploding target....hmmmmm.

 

I'm a stock 12 only bottomed out once on one of the berms. So you'll be fine, I'm going to go around the berm this time

hehe the target is for .223 and larger should be fun I may stop and get a couple more they're 8.99 at Dicks Sporting Goods.

 

Guys - not to be a wet blanket but Centralia is not the best place to be shooting at Tannerite Targets...
I'm all about having fun but there is a time & place for all of that stuff.
You can do whatever you want to.
I'm going to be elsewhere if you're blowing them up.

 

Especially as being in that area is trespassing.

So if it is trespassing....Why would this little meet be happening in the first place? I'm past the age of wheeling in out of bounds places, too much to lose. Reconsidering even the .22 Should someone have a gripe, I do not need any item of discussion with me.

 

Its not trespassing there, there is loooaaaaddddds of ppl offroading up there and the cops dont come around. I even went and i am a cop, ur fine. but the whole shooting thing..........There were ppl up there shooting but idk if i would be, ur just looking to get in trouble there with that.

BTW. that big a$$ rock hill we climbed there.. messed up my tie rod ends, now i have to get new ones

 

I suppose it's always a gamble. All the areas around me which are owned by RAC are technically posted unless you have a back way in or hold an access permit. If any of you wish to bring any firearms and shoot, I know a legit shooting pit just north of Pottsville that we could hit up before or after, it is 10 minutes off route 61.

Yeah I didn't see any signs or anything either. Also where we ended up there were a load of shotgun shells... so I thought that meant it was okay to shoot... one or two targets prolly wouldn't be an issue, I've never shot one so I don't know how big the blast is, but were I was thinking we would be at the top of a ridge and the target down in a valley, we sent Steve on a quad and he said the roads just dead ended so there shouldn't be the risk of any one coming up on us... thats the only place I had in mind to shoot. As with all guns you must do it responsibly.

 

Also if it makes anyone uncomfortable I will leave it in the truck, unmixed of course, and just plink around with the AR and the 45. I don't NEED explosive targets to have fun with my guns I WANT explosive targets to enhance the fun
