Installed a PKALL immobilizer bypass, appeared to "learn" the key. But truck will not remote start unless I have key in/near ignition. Starter cranks but doesn't start, will shut off automatically and then try again a few seconds later. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like it didn't recognize the key. Both symptoms are the immobilizer system.

It appeared to program correctly, put connector 1 in while holding reset down and then connector 2, flashed 10 beeps really fast. Which is the confirmation of the "learn". Took cables out and put back in, flashes as if bypass was programmed, cannot reprogram so that also indicates a successful "learn"'. Seems to be an issue with the bypass itself, but not sure.
