I loved the idea of this thing but it still does not work the same way, the picture is horrible and it still has that rainbow screen that popped up while i was over there. it came out looking real good after i painted it tho! maybe i can just replace with another camera

Not to put you in the same crowd as Jeeps but why not mount them up near the windshield? A local here, DWreck, mounted some lights like those in a similar spot and look great and the output of the light is awesome from that position!

I plasti dipped my old grill, wheels, and rear bumper 3 months ago and its held up great! Some have even had their plasti-dip last over a year and longer. What do you plan on dipping?

The wheels sucked to be honest...i sprayed plastidip on the trd off road wheels and i guess it was because of the angles and az heat, some areas bubbles, then went to wash them off a couple times with a power sprayer and it all peeled right off. i used about 5 coats on them. others have had better luck. the bumper however lasted me over a year with no problems ever! powersprayer and all it held up against the elements...even with about 2 inches of mud caked on. its a great quick and easy mod if you dont like a chrome bumper or just wanna black one

ive seen this before as well just dont personally like the look of them being up there. i guess i like where they are on Lateralus pic because they are basically stock location under the headlights. i am gunna see what the look like in the cutouts before a final decision tho.

:D its so badass looking! i mean all around it looks good but there are some angles when you look at it :jerkoff: haha

FIRST POST!? Awesome man! glad you like it and yes while you cant wait to start, your wallet will be begging you to turn away now haha

I agree, I think that is the best place.to mount them. I still got 2 more advmonster lights to mount and thats where im gonna put them. Looks like he put his on the side, I was just gonna do them on the flat piece behind the tube. Like this . . . .

The reason being because they r still protected fully by the bumper and it seems like the bumper itself would block a lot of the light being that close to the side of it
