    while normally, your suspension components are bolted to stationary parts or the frame or crossmembers, he's built a crossmember that pivots. so straight up and down drop is similar to a solid crossmember, but flexing side to side is greatly increased. if you look closely, you can see a bar that the shocks and springs connect to. there is a bar coming off of that that follows the line of the drive shaft. it looks like that is the bar it pivots about.

    red is the new crossmember with two links coming off of it. blue is the big pivot for the new crossmember. there appears to be a spring (orange) that may support the pivot :notsure:
