    Yup, I ordered jess the firestik one from right channel when I ordered my new coax. Today when I went to rotate my tires and change my oil my antenna was bent to shit on the garage door so I ordered one for myself too.

    The ground would be attached to the bottom half and wouldn't be an issue when you disconnect the antenna from the top half. I thought about going that route, but I don't trust people so much. Tend to think someone might walk away with it.

    Good point. Even though mine is on with a simple nut, I'll keep my rusted false sense of security.

    on another note...Mike how do you like the ride since removing your sway bar? I'm really considering it to try it out for camping and possibly just leave it off. I don't drive much during the week anymore, so I'm not worried about "ruining my daily driver".

    I removed my sway
    Love it ....

    Only issue I have, is my front coils are stiffer than stock, and so when I hit a pot hole the tire drops into the hole rapidly, causing a loud thud ...
    Otherwise, it's great offroadin and noticed no change on highway

    that's most likely a result of the lift, not the spring rate. with your lift, you have more compression and less drop, so your shocks top out more more easily in the pothole scenario.

    you'll be fine. just try not to jump, or abruptly unweight the the front end when you wheel. other than that you should be fine. shocks might wear out a little faster, but we're talking about a ways down the road, when you'll probably have replaced them anyway.
