    see i like the entune unit because i too have a thing for keeping stuff looking oem...and same with the electronics.
    i know its possible to convert my none jbl system to support the jbl entune dash just...been kinda iffy lately

    This is exactly what I was wanting to do before. I want OEM looks and Bluetooth, XM isn't that big to me but I really want the ability to have at the very least Pandora on the head unit. With the whole VIN/entune subscription thing it seems a little pointless, if someone wants to pay for the subscription why would they need to have a VIN specifically for the service?

    Here are some photos of the LEDs in the Entune unit. Tiny, I think 0402 size. Ordered some I'll see if they fit. I'm changing all the illumination in the truck to red. Easier on the eyes at night. Last one shows a comparison to a PLCC2 LED. These things are small!

    Yup, those are super small...I know I can swap them but I'd rather not...

    Still thinking about swapping the ones in this radio and selling it on here

    I just got the 0402 LEDs in the mail. Very small. I think the ones in the Entune unit are 0805.

    so after looking over some stuff...i may have found a way to make a 2012+ radio sit flush with the pre 12s...give me a week or so to make sure it will work :spy:

    This indash metal brackets we different than the regular non touch screen one I original posted...so it sits a bit more flush...
