I topped out my 48" last night by myself stuck in a trail. And I don't listen to that 75% BS. I literally had it one hole away from coming off. Made me work much harder to get myself out.

IMHO a 48" jack should never be purchased if you plan on going offroad.

Yeah I have pretty much made up my mind to go with the 60". Concensus is 60" and it fits if you remove attachments, which I don't mind doing. Only thing that sucks is that the damn ATO mounts are more $$ than the hi-lift itself. That's kinda sad.

Anyone know if the hi-lift jack will work if I have the OEM side steps?

Yeah the oem side steps bolt to the body so there is probably a chance (due to leverage) that you will actually do more body damage lifting from them than just lifting from the body itself. Plus I am not so sure they are up for holding the weight of the pickup, just people.

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
set of aluminum mounts. they have a bolt and wingnut to hold the jack, and probably two bolts on the the bottom of each mount going through the wheel well. looks homemade? hack saw, dril, and thread taps and you could easily make a set yourself.
