I installed 23K worth of cabinets in a basement bar. The house had about 100k worth of cabs in it.

found out today that my kitchen sink was plugged right up. so when i was trying to unplug it i ended up breaking the abs where it meets the cast. ran 40 ft of snake down there and replaced the abs. my first bit of plumbing ive done but no leaks. Gotta love Teflon tape lol

Good job but you're dishwasher is being contaminated with sewer gas due to being tied in behind the trap,downstream. It needs to be upstream,before the trap. And the dishwasher hose needs to be raised as high as ya can get it to keep sewer back up from entering dishwasher.

Good eye! I knew about the dishwasher line needing to be high but I hadn't ever thought about the sewer gas. I'm gonna check mine when i get home but I'm pretty sure I come in above the trap.

 

I just now realized that's an IKEA kitchen! Had I not just put one in myself I never would've known. Looks fantastic, well done.

It's a little tight with the old tee being up high. Another weekend project would be to cut out all the old waste pipe and repipe in PVC with a cleanout at shelf level.

Haha thanks man! Hard to pass up at the price point and it being my first place. From cabinets to appliances to granite I came in at 7k.
