    Thats what I thought but it looks like everything that used to say donahoe was changed over to the icon logo except the coils.

    They probably did that because they were completely rebuilding the shock so instead of putting the old donahoe stuff that they took off they replaced them with new icon parts instead.

    Yea, we went up to the Huntington dog beach. We haven't been there before and wanted to check it out.

    They were so good that I got rid of them for Goodyear MTR's! No seriously, they are good tires but they do have their downfalls which are poor traction in slippery surfaces. I had heard and read good things about the MTR's so I wanted to see how they perform. I haven't really put them to the test yet in mud or snow but I will try them out this winter.

    Installed a Hypertech Inline Speedometer Calibrater today. Really straightforward installation. Notes for others:

    1. I dont have winblows and my parallels for mac was the wrong version so I got the new version and that worked fixed that problem. SO make sure you have windows or know somebody that will let you borrow their laptop for a few minutes.

    2. Physical installation was a BREEZE. Literally 10 minutes and the sucker was in.

    3. Here is where the headache came in. Hypertechs software just has you input the old tire size and the new tire size as well as the old gears and new gears. Well I did that and my MPH was still way off from two GPS's I was running. So I went back and fiddled with the numbers. Here are the numbers I had to input to get my speedometer back on to the 10th of a MPH:

    old tires 165/60-17 (do they even make that size?)
    new tires 345/70-17 (thats a wide ass tire)
    old gears 3.73:1
    new gears 4.88:1

    overall ratio 1.110229

    Those numbers have me within a gnats ass of the GPS MPH off of two seperate GPS's.

    Not bad for $30...

    Trial and error. Spent about 30 minutes doing that and nailed it. Note: DO NOT try and calibrate on the fly. Stop, put in park and then fiddle with the laptop. A check engine light came on when I tried to calibrate on the fly (Code 0500). I just reset it with my ultra gauge and it hasn't come back on.

    Hypertech Speedometer Calibrater Module

    It's the one on the bottom.

    Nah, snagged on eBay from a member on here. I guess they normally run about $200 but I got it for $30! :headbang:
