every thread where a pull is involved must have an safety nazi... I hereby offer my services

pulling with a chain in dangerous. Chains break then become projectiles that have killed. Buy a snatch strap and learn how to use it.

wanted to find a particular bad video showing this, but I can't find the one I wanted :(

All it takes is to see the impression a chain makes on the tailgate of a pick up truck where one broke and you quit using chains unless you absolutely have to and then everybody is cleared out that is not essential.

Finally a sub box for the AC that I actually like. If one used a similar carpet to the interior it would look much more 'factory' than that goofy factory alternative. Please post pics as you progress. I may even pester you for specs if you have them handy too.

I am at 59000 miles and had free time so I changed the plugs, did an oil/filter change and greased the drive shaft. 2nd time around on the plugs is much much smoother. The front drivers side next the oil filter went smoothly too. First time I was so afraid I'd break the clip I spent way too much time on it. Now I just have to inspect the tranny fluid and maybe get it flushed.

outside dimensions: 18.25" high, 11" wide, 6" deep (3/4" MDF)
    2" port 18.17" long
built it for a JL 8W3v3-4

plan on spraying it with bedliner. if I can find a grey that matches I'll use that, black if I can't find a good match.
