Well, I saw this thread on Tundra Forum, so I started myself to make a cat soup to see if it works for my taco.

I´ll be uploading pictures tonight and tomorrow when everything is installed again on the truck.

In this link you can read requirements for selling remanufactured and new catalytic converter, and why is illegal to sell and install used ones if they are not remanufactured and certified.

It also says it is illegal changing a cat converter that is working properly.

    http://www.epa.gov/compliance/enforcement/air/documents/fuelwaivers/amcced.pdf

Right now, my right cat has been 2 1/2 hour in the citric acid solution, and the solution has been getting a green color..I will let it there for six hours..

    Wish me luck...

    Follow up:

October 4th, 100 miles, non check engine light.
October 14th, 220 miles, non codes.
November 10th, 600 miles, non codes.
December 1st, 1050 miles, everything going right.
    07/18/2014, 12800 miles later. Code p0420 again.

Final consideration: you can buy some time, in my case more than one year, if you ride more maybe it will be less, so take this data for your considerations before doing this process.
