I'd like lift a 2nd gen taco 9" and put 35's on it. Are there any 9" i.f.s. kits out there or do I have to do a 6" suspension w/ a 3" body lift? I don't want to swap out for a straight axel either. Also I don't know but a 9" i.f.s. lift (if there is one) might look too boxy under there?

ya if you have the prerunner 2wd then you would have to do a front axle swap if you dont want the coilover system underthere. doesnt look to boxy though in my opinion and ive seen both fabtech and procomps. other than that i dont believe that there is a 9 inch kit on its own. you have the right idea and would have to go with a 6inch susp and 3inch body lift. becareful tho. from what i here most body lifts cause more problems. to many parts come loose

I might be wrong but...... it seems that with the 6'' lifts that they put the a-arms at the stock arch. i think that if you got a 6" kit with the coilovers to go with it, then you could add a spacer kit in to get another 2-2 1/2". The basic kits just give you a 6" lift spacer to go with the new knuckles and drop down brackets, but if you had the coilovers, like the dirt logic or MX6, then you would be able to add it....... anyone else have any input?

I have got 9" of suspension lift. 6" pro comp and 3" spacers in the coils. 6" blocks and 3" add a leaf in the rear. Just build a brace for the rear end and you dont have to worry about it twisting. And also get high quality u-joints and you should have no worries. Also I have 37's

Those tires and wheels make the rear axle look like a toothpick. Truck looks bad-ass though.

    Just enough, and never enough
don't do it whiplash makes horrible lifts the next thing you know you will be driving down the road and your body will fall off the frame(dramatization) but if you have ever ridden in any whiplash lifted application then you will know what i mean...

I have the 6" fabtec lift on my 2007 tacoma sport access cab on 33" tires and woud like to add 3 more inches of lift to it to clear 35" tires with no rub and have been looking at doing the toytec 3" coil lift kit w/ AAL. Anybody done this lift on top of a 6" lift? What are your guys thoughts on the subject?

    Holy thread revival batman!

Why don't you just do a body mount chop mod to clear the 35's up front.

BHLM, HID kit, yellow fogs, Grill craft, Hellas behind grillcraft, LED cup holder mod, after market horn, extra reverse lights, under body glow for off roading at night, pro comp 7089's wrapped in 255/75/17 bfg mud terrains, Toytec coiovers sat at 3.25, 2" add a leaf with 5100's, Satoshi grill mod
If you do this i would also recommend getting after market UCA's to get your alignment back into spec. 6" lift plus a spacer lift is just like having a 3" lift. it will put an angle on your cv axles.
