Well last night after work I hop on the interstate cruising along at 55 mph (75) when a landscaper along side of me starts blowing his horn like crazy and pointing backwards. I pull over and my tail gate is open. Everything is in place, didn't lose a thing. Too much of a hurry to get home I guess. Thank you landscaper and thank you Protecta Heavy Duty Rubber Truck Bed Mat. My stuff was stuck like glue. Before I got the mat ever thing would slide around and bang into the sides of the bed and make all kinds of racket. Now nice and quiet.

Protecta heavy duty rubber truck bed mat you say!

I would love to buy a Protecta heavy duty rubber truck bed mat, but sadly i have no rubber truck to put a Protecta heavy duty rubber truck bed mat in.

but it is good to know that you recommend the Protecta heavy duty rubber truck bed mat.

Gotta say, a rubber bed mat may not sound like a cool mod/add on, but when i put mine in it was so nice not to have everything sliding around. I got mine from the dealer and it is heavyduty w/ toyota stamped on it for $90. Well worth it

Gee, are you making fun. I think I'll cry. On the other hand too bad you don't have a Taco, then you would appreciate a Protecta heavy duty rubber truck bed mat.

I got a bed mat last week (not Protecta though) and love it. I never put anything back there before, unless it was tied down. Now I toss beer, groceries, beer, other crap I don't want in the cab, and it stays put.

uh, dude... its in my avi square...

    a pile of jeep.

I already stated I plan to have a bedmat in my truck, and that an entire thread devoted to a particular bed mat was a tad SPAMy, and deserved a gentle flaming...(but somehow THAT post disapeared!)

whats really irking me is how hard it is to find a decent price on a used tacoma here in utah, my god... I REFUSE to pay 22 grand for a royally ferked over 06 taco with 80,000 on the odom, it's just not worth it...

find me(not you) one in perfect shape, mostly stock and under 40,000... we'll talk.

I may just have to wait till i can buy one new... or get a killer deal like static

I don't get it. Why was the landscaper honking like crazy? Was it just b/c your tailgate was down? Heck, I ride with mine down all the time and I don't think anyone around here would bat an eye about it, let alone honk like crazy to let me know it was down. I guess it's a Texas thing.

But you and the rest are correct. A bed mat is a necessity and one of the best mods. I actually bought a larger one for and cut it to fit my truck. I always enjoy little projects to occupy my time. Going to install the D-rings today :)

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Travel to get one. I got my 08 brand new trd sport (2wd not 4wd) for 21.5k. You could probably get something with 4wd for 25 or 26 if you were willing to travel to pick it up. Nothing like a road trip in your new truck to get used to it!
